Being such a well respected player in the world of men’s fashion many have asked the question ‘why does Tom Ford not do jeans?’. Well your prayers have been answered as the ecclectic American designer has decided to dip his toes into the already congested pool that is the world of mens jeans.
Find out more about the venture after the jump:
This being Tom Ford, the emphasis is on form rather than function, with concealed rivets and 18kt gold-plated buttons. But Ford’s jeans, made as they are of 13oz Japanese selvedge denim with double-reinforced seams and waistband, are nevertheless rough enough for a John Ford western, and even come in a cowboy-pleasing bootcut as well as a straight-leg style. Available from Harrods for a credit crunch-defying £465 in indigo or black and white Bull denim.
Check out the Tom Ford site in the near future for more images of the denim range.

Michelle added these pithy words on Mar 03 09 at 11:58 amI’m loving the colour of those jeans! It’ll be great to see some of these jeans on models to see the way they hang – not that I expect anything less than perfection from Mr Ford.
