Whereabouts S/S 2009

A new season is underway with trends that are bold, fun and full of character! This season is particularly very exciting as the trends are taking Menswear down a more formal road yet with that mix/match element to give it that twist rather than simply regurgitating trends of the past.

The biggest trend that will have an impact this summer will definitely be Nautical/ Yachting Club.

The key features:

• T-shirts will feature horizontal stripes
• Blazers will be predominantly Navy with either brass buttons or white lining around the lapels, sleeves and pockets
• Light blue shirts with white collar and cuffs
• Chinos/ Straight narrow fit stonewashed jeans
• Boat shoes
• Over-sized beanie hats

Nerdy tips:

• To create that “twist” to your outfit turn up the cuffs on the blazer/shirt.
• Also, roll up the chinos/jeans to create the ankle swinger effect
• Buy some bright boat shoes
