Zegna with its legacy coming close to a century old, is without doubt, one of the best fashion houses for producing fine clothing and formalwear for men.  A little known fact is that they actually produce suits for other large labels including Gucci, Yves Saint Lauren and Tom Ford (all of which have a common-denominator in Tom, being heavily involved with each brand at some point in recent years) so that really does speak for itself in terms of the brand’s recognition amongst its peers.

It looks as though Zegna are turning a corner as they are introducing technology enhancements to their line that would leave James Bond and Q envious. The mainline range consists of the following make-up:

  • Ultra Light (Couture) – Finest light-weight fabrics.  Supreme craftsmanship.
  • Cool Effect (Sartoria) – Offer protection against heat from the sun (up to 80%!) with a special coating on the blazers
  • Trofeo 600 (Sartoria) – 600 thread-count silk – the finest quality on the market
  • Elements (Upper Casual) – Jacket/parka with temperature regulating materials to keep you cool or warm
  • Sport - Showcase ‘Freeway’ Jacket which incorporates an LED lighting system for night-time visibility

Some of the 08/09 range was showcased back in September, but here we have the latest additions to their RTW and some of our favourites from the runway. All very nice indeed, I’m sure you’ll agree.  Take a look for yourself.
