How to Buy a Suit for under £20

The Suit for under £20

The Suit for under £20

In crisis-times such as these, we need to be a little more frugal with our available disposable income, which means no more Brioni or Jermyn St tailoring.  This suit is our recommendation for those of you who need to sharpen up your act for the New Year – perhaps for that interview you need to attend after being made redundant in 2008.  Well, at least this will give you more cash to drown your sorrows in the local drinking hole!

Find out where after the jump.

You guessed it – ASDA George has come to the rescue and this 3 button single-breasted suit is as cheap and cheerful as you like made from 100% polyester.  OK – perhaps the fabric isn’t your usual Italian yarn, but the master tailor used by Mr George for his range is top-drawer and used to make suits for some of the backbenchers in parliament.  So at least it will fit well.

The jacket is priced at £18.60 – yes – just £18.60 and they throw in the trousers for free.  You can even order this combo online and it seems like most sizes are still in stock, so get in there quick before the rest of England realises how bloody good this deal is.  To get the trousers for free you simply add both items to your cart and the trouser price is discounted.  Easy, eh?
