Meermin: quality handmade footwear on a shoestring.

Supposedly from different parts of the same family, there are similarities between Meermin and Carmina – another Mallorca-based Spanish shoemaker – but the former is breaking new ground by offering shoes of a distinctive quality at prices that offer incredible value.

A pair of their ‘standard’ range of bench-made shoes start at just EUR 160.  They also offer a fully bespoke service at competitive prices, in case you were looking for somewhere to buy that extra special pair.  Reviews appear to be very favourable across the board, although some have experienced issues with quality control.
